As autumn rolls in, September brings more than just crisp air and seasonal treats—it marks National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a dedicated time to shine a light on the brave young patients battling cancer and to rally behind the organizations working tirelessly to find cures.
This month, we are honored to partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a sweet cause. Join us for our Caramel Apple Dipping stations in store, where a portion of proceeds of each La Bella Romana caramel apple sold will go directly to support St. Jude’s lifesaving work.
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is simple yet profound: to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.

On September 26th from 10am-4pm in each of our locations, we will have a special caramel apple dipping station. Fresh, granny smith apples right in the peak of apple season will be freshly dunked in caramel and topped with the topping of your choice! You can choose between

- Sprinkles– a nod to St. Jude’s “No Chemo” parties
- A beloved St. Jude tradition is celebrating a child’s final chemo treatment with confetti, cheers, and vibrant colors. In tribute to these triumphant moments, our signature “No Chemo” Sprinkle Apple is covered in a burst of bright, colorful sprinkles. It serves as a sweet symbol of celebration, resilience, and the bright futures made possible through pediatric cancer research.
